Abigail Smith is an associate practicing intellectual property law. Ms. Smith concentrates her practice in the areas of patent preparation and prosecution, trademark, copyright, intellectual property licensing and intellectual property strategy and management. Ms. Smith also supports the firm in international intellectual property prosecution and litigation.
Ms. Smith graduated from the Chicago-Kent College of Law, where she was a member of the Deans List and co-Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of International and Comparative Law. In addition to her juris doctorate, Ms. Smith received a certificate in Intellectual Property Law the Chicago-Kent College of Law. Ms. Smith received a B.A. from the University of Colorado-Boulder in Molecular, Cellular and Developmental Biology. Ms. Smith also holds a B.A. in English Literature from the University of Colorado-Boulder.
Prior to attending law school, Ms. Smith worked as a Professional Research Associate for the Institute for Behavioral Genetics at the University of Colorado-Boulder performing biological research.
Ms. Smith is admitted to practice before the Colorado Supreme Court. She is a member of the Colorado Bar Association.
