Run-time error 4198 in ABX

This error arises when one tries to validate an ABX file in ABX. Immediately upon starting the validation, a "microsoft visual basic" error pops up, saying "run-time error 4198".

There appears to be no way to overcome this error, other than by deleting the DOC file and starting over. Apparently it is caused by some unknown data type or code that gets pasted into the DOC file from somewhere else.

The "workaround" is to try even harder than ever to avoid pasting anything but pure text into the DOC file. Paste the text into Notepad, for example, and then copy it from there into ABX.

An EBC person suggests "normalizing" the entire DOC file, and then retagging everything in the file.
